I won’t be signing up for NaBloPoMo this month because I’m being realistic. I haven’t been able to do NaBloPoMo successfully after three tries, BUT I’ve decided to look at the bright side. After all, I am a silver lining kind of girl. So instead of focusing what I wasn’t able to do, I’ll focus on what I did do. And while I didn’t post everyday for a month, I have been posting at least once a month. That’s more than I can say for the past two years. If I keep posting at least once a month, I’ll consider that progress. My expectations are set, but I still intend to go beyond those expectations and post more than once a month. It won’t be everyday, but it’s still something.

I’ve never heard of theme frameworks before. But when I get the time to actually look into it, I’ll be one step closer to making my own theme for this blog. Or at least I’ll get a chance to make it more customized. I miss coding and designing

Spring Break Update
I finally figured out why it always takes so long for me to update.
I’m a perfectionist. A perfectionist that can never get things perfect, but puts things off thinking that as time goes on I’ll improve. I have several posts that I’ve started already but haven’t had the chance to look over. So they just stay private until I have time to make sure that they say what I want.
But what’s the point of a blog if it never gets updated? I’ll try not to worry as much if I feel like I haven’t written enough. I can always write a follow up blog anyway. So in the next couple of days, I’ll be publishing those entries that have been gathering dust for a while.
Side note: I need a new layout too. I don’t have time to make one, so I’ll probably look for another free one. I miss the days when I had time to design and code
